The Fair Trade Shop Philippines chain of stores is the brainchild of the Advocate of Philippine Fair Trade Inc and was developed as part of their Market Development for Fair Trade Project, which aims to build a domestic market for fair trade.
However, the stores are a collective effort of various Philippine Fair Trade organizations:
The Fair Trade Shop, Cebu
The Fair Trade Shop, Cebu is owned and managed by the Southern Partners for Fair Trade Center. It is supported by the Cebu Fair Trade Network and the Fair Trade Young Advocates.
The Fair Trade Shop, Cagayan de Oro
The Fair Trade Shop, CDO is owned and managed by Salay Handmade Paper Industries, Inc. It is supported by the Amihanang Mindanao Fair Trade Producers Association.
The Fair Trade Shop, Naga
The Fair Trade Shop, Naga is owned and managed by the Bicol Best Producers Association under the supervision of the Great Women Project. It is supported by the Metro Naga Development Council.
The Fair Trade Shop, Bohol
The Fair Trade Shop, Bohol is owned and managed by the Bol-anon United Sectors Working for the Advancement of Community Concerns Incorporated under the supervision of the Peace and Equity Foundation, Inc. It is supported by the Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines.
